In the Units, Materials, or Custom Cost view, right-click the private unit and choose Open from the shortcut menu to open the Properties dialog box for the selected item.
I n the Type box, select Public and then click OK.
Note: You can also promote a private macro or compatible unit from the Unit Assistant window by using the Promote to Public command on the Actions menu.
